Planned Maintenance Replacement (PMR)

PMR is designed to be our fourth tier of gas starter service offering. The operating premise is that the starter will be serviced at the same time as the major engine overhaul, which is normally annually. Just as other major components are serviced proactively to minimise unscheduled service interruptions, with PMR we propose that engine starting equipment be considered in the same light. In terms of pricing PMR is positioned below our current service exchange service, providing customers with the lowest life cycle cost solution, with all PMR starters carrying a 6-month warranty.

Service Exchange (SX)

We offer a service exchange service for non-electric engine starting systems at highly competitive rates.

Service exchange is a convenient option when turn-around times are short, the starter motor removed does not have to be the one returned (to coincide serial numbers and plant tag numbers, seen often in the oil & gas industry). Service exchange has a price position well below that of a new replacement. The starter motors are rebuilt to the highest standard using genuine parts which meets manufacturer’s specifications and are tested on our OEM designed test rigs prior to dispatch. A certificate to verify the unit’s post-repair performance is provided as part of the service, and all repaired starter motors carry a 6-month warranty.

Repair

We offer a repair services for air tools and non-electric engine starter motors at highly competitive rates.

The repaired starter motors are rebuilt to the highest standard using genuine parts which meets manufacturer’s specifications and are tested on our OEM designed test rigs prior to dispatch. A certificate to verify the unit’s post-repair performance is provided as part of the service, and all repaired starters carry a 6-month warranty.

For air tool repairs we have a range of torque testing equipment that enables the testing of all impact tools up to 6000 ft.lb torque. A certificate to verify the unit’s post-repair performance is provided and all repaired tools carry a 3-month warranty.
